Terms of Use

By accessing or using the Synth Studio platform ("Service"), operated by Synth Global Limited ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, and such modifications will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Synth Studio is an AI-powered video effects and upscaling platform that allows users to upload videos and apply various artistic styles and resolution enhancements using open source artificial intelligence models. The Service operates on a pay-as-you-go credit system where users purchase credits to process videos. One credit is consumed per video processed, regardless of the style, effect, or upscaling resolution selected.

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.

The Service uses a credit-based payment system. Credits are purchased in packages at the prices displayed on our pricing page at the time of purchase. One credit is required to process one video. Credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be exchanged for cash. Credits do not expire. All prices are displayed in US Dollars unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time; however, price changes will not affect credits already purchased. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment providers, and your use of those services is subject to their respective terms.

The Synth Studio name, logo, and all related trademarks, service marks, and trade names are the property of Synth Global Limited. The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology (excluding open source components used under their respective licences), is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent. Open source AI models used in the Service are subject to their respective open source licences.

You retain all ownership rights to videos and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, transform, and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your User Content. We do not use User Content to train AI models or for any purpose other than delivering the requested processing. Processed videos are available for download for a limited period, after which they may be deleted from our servers. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights to upload and process your User Content.

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) upload content that infringes on any third party's intellectual property or other rights; (b) process content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service; (d) use automated methods to access the Service beyond the intended API; (e) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; (f) resell or commercially redistribute processed outputs without proper authorisation; (g) upload content containing malware or malicious code; or (h) violate any applicable law or regulation.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Synth Global Limited and its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Synth Global Limited and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any rights of a third party.

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Unused credits at the time of termination for cause are forfeited. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
